As soon as you select a service you will be transfered to a screen where you can see your selection and you will be able to check out from there.

2. How soon will my account be set up? When can I use it?

Your account will be set up within 4 hours or less. A dedicated server will be set up within 3 to 4 business days.

3. Is there a minimum contract?

No, you pay for each month in advance and you are free to cancel anytime.

4. Can I upgrade my plan anytime? Do you charge me for that?

Yes, you can upgrade anytime. There are no transfer fees. Your new monthly fee will only apply from the next billing cycle.

5. Can I use one account to host more than one domain name?

Yes, you can host any amount of additional domain names on the same account for $2 each.

6. Do you accept adult or illegal content on my web site?

No, we don't accept adult content. Illegal content may lead to immediate termination of your account.

7. Do you provide customer support? Can I contact you anytime?

You may enter our support system anytime. We are permanently trying to improve our support. Emails will normally be answered within 2 hours.

8. How can I cancel my account?

As soon as you are a member you can login and cancel or upgrade your account anytime.

9. Can I always receive assistance if I need it at any time?

We are currently working on a searchable, database driven help system which is reachable anytime. If you don't find an answer there you can fill a support ticket which will be answered normally within about 2 hours.

10. Can I update my web site anytime?

Yes, there are no limitations.

11. How fast and reliable are your support staff?

If you need any kind of additional help, we will try our best to respond quickly. We pay special attention to security concerns.

Billing questions

1. Are there any setup fees?

No, there are no setup fees. You only pay your monthly fee for any account you have with us, as well as for any specials or for exceeding your bandwidth limit. A dedicated server eventually might require a set up fee.

2. Is there an overage charge if I go over my bandwidth?

We charge $5 for each started GB.

3. When will I be billed for my accounts?

You will be billed on the day we open your account and then each month one the same day. If your account was setup February 21st, we will charge you every 21st of the month.

We use the apache web server with SSI, mod_ssl and suexec.

2. What operating system do you use?

Our computers are running RedHat Linux 7.

3. Do you have PHP installed?

Yes, we have PHP4 on the system.

4. Which cgi software do you support?

We support perl, python and all major shells, you can also run your own C or Java programs.

5. Do you support Servlets and JSP?

Yes,

6. Which database server do you have installed?

We have MySql.

7. Do you use suexec or cgiwrap?

Yes, for best possible security we use suexec. We also have a system configuration, which helps our customers to host their web site more secure.

8. Do you support Microsoft Front Page?

At this moment we don't.

Internet questions

1. How does virtual hosting work?

We host virtual domains, which means that we simulate a single computer for each customer. A request to our customers web pages always comes with a domain name like 'mydomain.com' as information. The web server uses this information to display the web pages that belong to that domain name. The email software does the same, so that you can always receive email under your own domain name.

2. How do I transfer my domain name to your servers?

If you have an already registered domain name you have to contact your registrar and change the name server information to:

3. Can you register a domain name for me? Do you register domains other than .com, .org, and .net?

Yes, we are able to register .com, .org and .net domain names for you.

4. Do you accept foreign domain names?

We accept all foreign domain names.

5. Do I have access to my DNS file?

No you will not have direct access, but if you just send an email we will adjust it very quickly.

6. Are sub domains included with my account?

You are allowed to have any amount of sub domains.

7. How many FTP accounts can I have?

Besides the amount of FTP accounts that are included in your package you can have additional FTP accounts in packages of 5 for $2 per month.

8. How can I access my email?

You have complete pop3 and smtp access to your email. Your main email account is 'username@yourdomain.com' or 'username@squarehosting.com'.

9. Do you offer Telnet?

We do not offer insecure telnet access, but we offer ssh (Secure Shell), which offers the same as telnet, but the data transmission is encrypted.

10. How can I transfer my files to my web site?

You can transfer them per ftp. We are also currently expanding our browser based control system to make it even easier.

11. Is my web site always accessible?

Yes, you can update, view or edit your web site anytime.

12. How fast are your connections?

We are connected with a fast OC3 connection.

Merchant Account questions

1. What is a Merchant Account for?

A merchant account is a bank account between your business and a financial institution, for the purpose to accept credit card payments.

2. What do I need to apply?

You need a business in the US, a business checking account with a financial institution and a passport or drivers license. If you want to do an internet business you also need a web site.

3. Can I use a savings account?

No, you can only use business checking accounts.

4. What is a discount rate?

The discount rate is the percentage that will be deducted from each sale, before it is deposited in your account.

5. What is a monthly minimum?

The monthly minimum is the minimum amount of fees, that you have to pay each month. If the transaction fees and the discount rates are less than the monthly minimum, then you have to pay the monthly minimum.

6. Do I need a web site?

If you want to accept credit cards through the internet, then you need a web site.

7. How long does it take to get it started?

After all your documents are complete it will normally take less than 48 hours until you can start accepting payments.

8. Do I need additional software?

No, you don't need any additional software.

9. How can I add it to my web site?

You just add a few lines HTML code and the payment gateway will be seamlessly integrated into your web site.

10. Do I need a secure Certificate?

No, you don't need a certificate. The payment gateway already has one installed, so you save a few hundred dollars.

11. How long does it take until I get my money?
